How far is Big White from Kelowna?
About 56 km, or roughly 55 minutes by car: Highway 33, then Big White Road. Kelowna International Airport is about the same distance.
Can non-Canadians buy at Big White?
BCREA and the Association of Interior REALTORS® report that Big White is outside the areas covered by the federal ban on non-Canadian buyers (currently to January 1, 2027). Confirm with a lawyer. See the buying guide.
Can I rent my Big White property nightly?
Generally yes: Big White is exempt from B.C.’s principal-residence rule, but you need a provincial registration number and must follow strata bylaws. See short-term rentals.
Is there a speculation tax at Big White?
No. Big White is not in a Speculation and Vacancy Tax area as of September 2026.
What does a Big White condo cost?
